11 days of living in a tent surrounded by strangers I’ll be traveling the world with for 11 months certainly had me nervous beforehand. Now, I’m so excited!!!
There was a lot that happened in that week and a half, and I mean a LOT. When the days begin to blur together, you find it to be much easier to focus on what’s happening right there in front of you rather than keeping track of what day it is (although it would help when organizing all of the footage).
What with everything that went on, I find it a little difficult to know where to begin to write the various happenings. So I’m going to do it like this:
The first in a series of videos, this shows the beginning of what was such an amazing week and a half. It all began with the storytelling workshop where we learned how to use different types of media (video, photo, social media) to share stories of what we’ve experienced and then onto our squad fully coming together and meeting each other for the first time. Looking back, I had no idea just how close I would get to these cool people, so look out! There are more videos and stories to come.
