It’s been three months since I officially committed to the World Race. Wow! It doesn’t even feel like it’s been that long to be honest. In that time, I’ve so far raised under $2,000, and I’ve gotten to know some of my squad members through their blog posts.
In these past three months there’s also something I keep learning every day, which is to keep relying totally on the Lord. Raising $18,000 can come across as an intimidating goal, but I’m constantly reminded that everything happens in God’s perfect timing. Not to worry about how much time I have to raise the money, but to take that time and focus on what God has for me to learn until then.
And with that, I also want to take this blog post to give a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. You are not just supporting a year long trip, this is a huge investment into bringing God’s change to who knows how many people!
