Thanksgiving is always such a great holiday to spend with family and take time to be thankful for all of the things you have. Spending Thanksgiving in another country surrounded by at least 100 people (the majority being total strangers) was actually pretty great.
We met F and K Squad: K Squad about ready to finish their 4th month, meanwhile F Squad is finishing their 11th month!!!
We all bonded pretty quickly, eager to listen to each other’s experiences and especially learning what to expect after so many months under our belts.
Overall, I’d have to say that what I was most thankful for in that moment was that God put so many people that made it easier to spend my first holiday away from my family and out of the country.
Thank you, F and K Squads for the past few days!!! I loved hearing your different stories and learning how God affected your lives while on the Race.
