Before I dive in and introduce you to the newest members of my family I want to give you the backstory. C-Squad consists of 44 God loving, absolutely amazing people. As a squad we will travel to different countries together. Within our squad we are broken down into 7 teams. These teams will do ministry and life with each other all day, everyday.
In order to determine these small teams we did a few different team building activities along with being watched throughout the week by our squad leaders and trainers. On Thursday morning we did two different activities in small groups. The groups were constantly changing to see who worked and interacted well together. Thursday afternoon we did another team exercise. From the moment we were put together things were magical. We laughed the absolute whole time, but also accomplished our mission. I instantly loved working with every one of these people.

Here is the masterpiece we created. Jesus preached, died on the cross, was buried in the tomb, arose from the grave, and ascended into heaven!
Friday morning we did one more team activity. For this activity our group was the same….except one person was missing. Our group all agreed we loved what we had but the one person not being there meant our puzzle was missing a piece. We voiced our opinion but knew ultimately our leaders were going to pray about it and the Lord's plan would avail. So we waited. And waited for what felt like forever, even though it was really just a few hours! And then it all went down. Our squad leaders announced the 7 team leaders. And then each team leader announced their team.
Five teams announced. Two left to go. I'm still standing there not in a team. Which is perfect because the leader I had worked in a group with a lot was about to announce his team. And then it happened. Bam, team announced. Thank you Lord for working all things out for those who love you! And now introducing my team and newest family members. Drumroll please…..
Justin Orr

Justin is our team leader. And man oh man is he going to do an incredible job leading our team! This man is so humble and is going to help each of us develop into what God has called us to be. He is going to lead us into great things both as a team and individually. From the beginning of the week thinking of him as my team leader was just comfortable and I praise God for giving me Justin as a leader.

Sam Walter

And yes, Sam he is. Sam is such a heart warming person who has so much to offer to the world. His quiet humor is hilarious. He is going to offer our team so much wisdom. We as a group recognize the wisdom Sam has and know when he speaks to listen, cause it's going to be good.

Jesse Morris

I have never met a man that is more generous and chivalrous towards women than Jesse. His heart to serve is one of a kind. And he does it out of such a loving manner that I just can't help but smile at his giving heart. I only hope I can serve him as well as I know he will serve our team this next year.

Candice Yates

Candice has so much love to give and I can't wait to experience her pouring love into our team and into those all around the world that we come in contact with. She is also a huge gator fan so we have some converting to do, but in the meantime it is going to be nice to talk SEC football!

Michelle Imig

While trying to think of how to describe Michelle all I can do is smile. The first time I met Michelle she was telling a group of us jokes. And snorting after every one of them. From that moment on I knew every time I was around Michelle I would be laughing and having a wonderful time. Oh and did I mention her dancing skills….phenomenal.

Leah Malone

Leah is our creative genius. She brings so much creative energy to our team. It only took about two minutes during a team activity to realize the creative genius in her. She is so bold, even bolder than she herself realizes. This newfound boldness is going to help take our team to places we wouldn't be able to reach without her. And she gives some of the best back scratches in the world.
