I went to Training Camp back in October.
I was taught a game while there.
It’s a game my team and I have fully embraced.
We’ve played it climbing mountains.
We’ve played it while cramped in vehicles.
And lately it’s been played with many congregations in Zimbabwe.
We like to call it the “thankful game”.
You see far too often we forget about the little things God has blessed us with.
And since this month has been all about God teaching me about blessings I have decided that is how I should close this month.
So:
Thank you God for sunsets and the conversations that happen while watching!

Thank you God for the ah-mazing clouds in the sky!
Thank you God for sunny days with a breeze!
Thank you God for little children that run into my arms!

Thank you God for a bed of my own this past month!
Thank you God for hot water to take baths in!
Thank you God for a host family that cooks American food for our team!
Thank you God for friends in unexpected places!

Thank you God for challenging me through this same friend!
Thank you God for providing time for me to just sit and worship you!
Thank you God for loving on me on days when I didn’t even want your love!
Thank you God for being able to wash clothes!

Thank you God for nights where I could look up and see nothing but a blanket of stars!
Thank you God for music to jam out and dance to while sanding floors!
Thank you God for mornings to wake up and spend hours in prayer and worship!
Thank you God for nightly fires!

Thank you God for continually tugging at my heart!
Thank you God for free time to play games with new Zimbabwean friends!
Thank you God for a month where you showed me more of yourself everyday!
