I just got back from taking kids from my church to camp and Philippians 4:19 was the theme verse for the week. I was on the trip to watch after the kids and help them grow in their walk with Christ but man did God teach me so much while I was there. Every day the kids talked about God’s provision for our lives in different aspects. Of course because they were diving into this concept, it also was heavily on my mind. I had a week to let this verse just soak in and let God continue to show me it’s not about me. He provides enough. He is enough. I do not have to worry about what I think I need in life because He will provide in every way I can imagine.
I sent out support letters the week before leaving for camp and know that God has placed this verse in front of me once again to remind me that with all of the challenges I am going to face He is still going to provide for my needs. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and provision!
