(Editor’s Note: These details are from an email Meagan sent me the other day and I thought it gave such insight into what God is doing in her life that I asked her if I could make it a blog post. She agreed.)

God is so good! It’s been REALLY hot here (in Cambodia) and we’ve been like, “how are we going to do this” and then we found this pool really close to where we’re staying! It has Wi-Fi, cool drinks for a dollar and a pool!

I’ve been sick on and off these past 2 1/2 months, so that’s been bad. Having runny poop and having to poop in a squatty potty is not fun, but I’m getting really use to it. Haha!

Two mornings ago I read Psalms 23. I was focused on the part that it talks about God leading us and I got this vision in my head of me trying to get Moon (editor’s note: Meagan’s horse) over a river and she didn’t want to go because she didn’t know how deep the river was. But I could see it wasn’t that deep so I kept pushing her into it even though she didn’t want to. Then I thought… I’m like my horse! I don’t want to do things because I can’t see the outcome of them. God is like the rider pushing me into things that I don’t want to do, but He can see the end result. God also has to keep reminding me that it’s not about me when I’m not wanting to be here.

We’ve been going to people’s houses in the town here. We go and pray for them. Everyone they take us to has something wrong with them…there is a lot of pain. We pray for healing and blessing on the families. All of the people we see go to the church where we’re staying. We pray for them in the mornings and in the afternoons we teach English to kids. It’s pretty fun!!

Oh….and there’s two little twin boys here that run around and hit each other and run away. You’ve seen A Bugs Life right? The twins are just like the two Rollie Pollies (Tuck and Roll) on that movie. They make me laugh every day!! I love them!!

We’ve been sleeping on the floor of the church, taking bucket showers and going to the bathroom in a squatty potty. We’re roughing it a little more this month.

AND I gave my testimony in church last Sunday. I didn’t want to, but I knew God wanted me to, so I did. 🙂 It wasn’t very long and I didn’t really know what to share, but I did it and that’s what counts.

Before I sign off, I need to explain the PooPoo Park from my last blog post.  This is a place where they make poop into paper.

The tent looking things are the paper drying in the sun!  Mrs. Janes – please don’t open a poo park!

Thanks for praying for me.
