- I was born in Marietta, GA to two New Yorkers, Karen and Jeff Kelley.
- I do NOT like sweet tea.
- My mother is a dreamer while my dad is the practical one. Watching their marriage has been a highlight of my life. Love IS real people!
- My older sister Kristen is my best friend and role-model. She is marrying the love of her life Steve, the brother I have always wanted. They wed one week before I leave on the World Race.
- I am so excited to stand next to my sissy on her beautiful day as her Maid-of-Honor.
- My first best friend was Mary Rachel, we lived in the same neighborhood when we were young…she is still my best friend and roommate today. Mache and I have been friends for 21 years and I am amazed by how much my Father loves me that he gave me such a wonderful friend and sister.
- First drama class of freshmen year, roll was called: "Annabelle Rose Barbour" and a few seconds later my name was called: "Meagan Rose Kelley." I love my middle name for many reasons, but one of them is because it brought about our beautiful friendship.
- Colorado is my all-time favorite state, I grew up skiing and snowboarding there every winter.
- One of my most exciting experiences in college was taking photos on the sidelines of the UGA v. CU game in the University of Colorado at Boulder's stadium with a dear friend Katie Rae. Despite our loss, I learned that being on the field during a UGA game is the best way to experience a college football game.
- Every time I see Perrier water, I say the line from the first role I had in a high school drama Rumors. I always say it with a sophisticated tone: "Perrier with lime, no ice." –Rumors by Ileana DuBaer.
- I grew up with only golden retrievers until we got my sister a schnoodle.
- That same schnoodle, Odis, I gave CPR to when he came out, what we thought at the time, a still-born. He's our miracle puppy.
- After the World Race, I will have been to more countries than states: 18 countries vs. 14 states.
- I always want to become the roles of the people in my favorite movies: a street car racer in Fast and Furious and a break-dancer or any dancer in Honey and Step Up.
- I used to be so afraid of death and even Heaven, that I used to cry and shake until my mom would tell me stories to get my mind off of it. My deepest fear was the unknown.
- In accordance to the one above, my freshmen year of college that fear was taken away from me. I now look forward to my future in heaven…no pain, illness or sadness, only Joy and Love.
- My parents are both from New York, but they met in Colorado…I do believe in true love, but not necessarily that there is a "one true love."

- Sickness, disease and death do not scare me. Ms. Carla, my mentor, has battled stage 4 ovarian cancer for the past four years, and her faith is stronger because of it. She has seen first hand the healing power of our great Daddy. Every day is a gift to live out for the glory of God and to "die" means only that we are moving from one flawed life to a flawless and perfect one.
- When I was six, I busted my chin open and got six stitches. I counted them as they were sewn in. What a weird kid!

- If I could communicate anything to everybody, it would be that Jesus loves everyone (literally), He has no requirements. Just read the stories about Him and all that He did…what do you lose by not believing He lived, loved and still lives? Just read about Him and decide for yourselves.
- The University of Colorado at Boulder was my dream college, but the HOPE scholarship and my dad helped me decide to go to the University of Georgia. One of the best life-changing decisions I've made.

- I'll only eat scrambled eggs with salsa.
- I self-diagnosed myself as gluten-intolerant and was gluten-free for a year…It was too difficult of a diet to sustain in college on a limited budget so, I eat gluten now but not very often just out of habit.

- I could be the professor of procrastination (right now, I'm doing this instead of studying for my Spanish midterm tomorrow).
- Good thing I do my best work under pressure. I was that kid that hit a homerun on a 2 strike-3 ball count in softball.
- I pitched a fit when my family moved to a new house and my room was bigger than my old one.
- The room I live in now, is smaller than my first room. Literally, it is 9ft. by 6ft. No joke.

- I want to go sky-diving after I graduate.
- My summers are usually spent on the lake with friends, wakeboarding, tubing and swimming.
- Mountains or beach? Mountains all the way! I would love to walk out my door and onto a Colorado mountain trail breathing in the fresh Rocky Mountain air.
- As freshmen in high school, my friends and I used to sneak out at night and ride around our neighborhood on a 3-wheeled golf cart. We thought we were such rebels.
- I'm not very self-aware, so this is a good exercise for me.

- Sometimes, all I want and need is for someone to sit me down and gently nudge me to talk about myself.
