The choices in this life are endless. We have so much time to do whatever we please. What will you do? What will you be? The questions we are asked time and time again. I graduated from college two years ago and the questions continue. I suppose I’ve come to the conclusion that my pages are yet to be written and those pages cannot be predicted. God’s plan is revealed with time. So my answer is not “I don’t know,” but that God knows. He describes himself as Yahweh – meaning “I am.” From that, I have come to love the phrase que sera sera – whatever will be will be. My life will be what God wants it to be and His glory will reign. I want my time to be open for His plans, so I am not ready to chase after a career just yet. There is always time for that, but I figure that He will open the doors that He wants me to go through. All I can tell you today is that I want my life to bring some of His Kingdom into this world, so I am chasing experiences that will build me into a woman for Christ, a woman who is able to bring His love to others more fully. God blessed me with two amazing parents and six wonderful siblings that I could not be more thankful for. My childhood led me to love this world and all that is in it. I want to bring that to other people, so that they can live life with a bottomless joy in their hearts, fueled by Christ alone. I was also blessed with a Catholic upbringing and with that comes a sense of responsibility to share God’s love with all His children, all my beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ. I tend to get caught up in the outdoors, figuring what adventure will be next, the next beautiful place I will get to explore in this world. I want to see all the treasures that exist. I trust God to take me where He wants me, that He will send me with the wind and show me His treasures.

Last year I went on a mission trip to Belize, where I missioned to people from all walks of life and saw God’s hand at work through our ministry. It was beautiful and challenging. I have always felt a call on my heart to go out and mission as the apostles did, to bring the love that I’ve been blessed to experience and share it with our brothers and sisters throughout the world. I had a snapshot of what that is like in Belize and now I am finally following that call and have found a ministry that matches perfectly with my sense of adventure and eagerness to work with people in all walks of life. I am heading off on a new adventure in October to serve with Adventures in Missions (ADV) on the World Race, an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution and human trafficking, and share the Father’s love. I hope that it will lead me to live out my faith more fully in my everyday life back here in the States and give me a better ability to let God use me for His greater good and His greater plan. I cannot wait to go out and be like the disciples of Jesus, away from my home, fighting for our Savior to conquer the world. I am so excited for the possibilities of being a beacon of light to His people and hoping that it will mold me to live more simply with a better ability to incorporate faith into every moment of life. I have looked into Nursing school and potentially one day will go down that path, but I know that God wants me available 110% and the only way that can be done is if I leave behind my home, the comfortable world and life I have here, the people I love and am used to, and abandon the plans I think best for me and trust in God’s plan for me. I know in my heart that this is God’s plan for me, the next step He wants me to take.

I am asking for your support through your prayers. Prayer is so powerful and that is the biggest gift you could bless me with. So please pray for me! Your prayers are most important for the mission and to have the best chance of bringing the Lord to the people we encounter. I want to be a warrior for Christ, so I am bringing His shield, the Word, with me and I am hopeful that we can ignite God’s holy fire, the Holy Spirit, in some of their souls. You will be able to follow along with the work that He is doing in our lives and see the power of your prayers at work on this blog.

“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.” -St. Catherine of Siena.

Thank you for being you, the wonderful person that God made you to be. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ and what a beautiful way to be connected to one another. Keep building up His kingdom here with your love and stay wild and free!

God’s Blessings!!!!!
