Since I was 5 years old I have disliked asking for anyone’s help. It wasn’t because I could do everything on my own, but it was due to a sense of unwavering independence and pride. As I look back to my 5 year old self up until now I realize there were times in my life where I should’ve asked for help, but didn’t. Where my pride was too much to seek help in anything I needed. Because of this, fundraising has been very hard for me. The truth is I don’t like asking for money, but I know that it is the only way I will be able to go help spread the gospel in four different countries.
Here I am today asking for your help, realizing that God wants me to be slightly uncomfortable in this situation in order to depend more on him.
