Not really, but “We Need to Talk” is the title of my most-viewed blog, so I thought maybe it’d catch your eye. A more important title might be “Important logistical details and also a fun and simple way to help me out immensely.” Sorry to trick you.

Not at all profound or important thought: what if fundraising was actually fun-raising instead and I just needed to make sure that a bunch of people I know and don’t know are having more fun than the were previously? I’d just devote my time to making sure there were ample balloons and confetti and chips and salsa and dancing always, probably.

Actually important and pertinent information:

  • IT’S BALLOON AND CONFETTI AND CHIPS AND SALSA AND DANCING TIME. Because of your love and generosity, I am 25% funded and over 80% of the way to my first fundraising goal. I continue to not be able to amply express my gratitude for you and how much I am blessed by you.
  • If you yourself just did the math based on the numbers on the above fundraising bar, you think I’m lying. I’m really not. Adventures In Missions’ fundraising database has been down for maintenance and should again be up and running, but because of this, there will be slight delays in your donations being represented on the above bar.
  • As mentioned previously, my first deadline is quickly approaching: $5,000 by May 13th. I’m almost there (THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH), but my second deadline closes in shortly after: $10,000 by July 22nd. That’s an overwhelming number for me to look at, but I’m excited to see how the Lord continues to provide.
  • I’ve always thought those countdown apps were cheesy and silly, but as I’ve said before, this journey is one of learning and continually being humbled, and I’ve admittedly downloaded one. As a result, I can now inform you without counting on my fingers that I launch in just 166 days! HOLY GUACAMOLE.

Now. If you’re not really the “donate-all-at-once” type or the “commit-to-donating-monthly” type, don’t stress, keep reading. I have a bunch of jars that need homes or apartments or dorm rooms to reside in and be filled in.

Here’s what I’m talking about:

And here’s what you can do:

  1. Choose your country: Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, or Vietnam. Email ([email protected]) or text me your choice and I’ll get it to you.
  2. Fill with coins, bills, snacks (just kidding, kind of) or words of encouragement. I’d especially appreciate prayers over my team’s ministry in that country.
  3. Return to me when full (preferably by April 21st, given my first deadline, but if you need more time, that’s fine).
  4. Know that you are so loved and appreciated.
