Lately life has been pretty sweet.

Good and hard days.

On the hard days, it looks a lot like..

Crying because I miss Lo.

Frustration because I struggled with hearing God that day.

Lots of time spent in the Bathroom because adjusting to new food. HA (And eating junk)

Being overwhelmed with a long week of ministry.

Being emotionally and physically drained at times.

but the good days outweigh the hard days.

My everyday looks a lot like…

watching beautiful volcanos puff out smoke from a squeezed tight van or bus.

Grocery shopping with my best friends.

Holding the hands of the elderly while playing way too many rounds of memory.

Nervously teaching four 6th grade English classes.

Dancing around in circles with kiddos during Wednesday night bible study.

Walking through the park of Parramos asking the Lord for guidance in what to do that day.

Meeting sweet people who love Jesus and just need reminded that he loves them also.

Playing volleyball and soccer at home with the fam.

Adventure days in Antigua.

Movie nights with the Team.

Deep dives, devos, activation.

Praying everywhere.

Nightly lice checks.

Sharing one bathroom with seven girls.

Unplanned worship sessions.

Deep conversations about where everyone is and how they are adjusting.

Dance parties.

Walking around barefoot.

Squad meals.

Spicy Uno.

Hand washing clothes and hangin them up just to have to wash them the next day because it stormed.

Lots and lots and lots of rain.

Borrowing all the squad sisters clothes.

Sunday church services at Shoreline in Antigua.

Sitting in the grass and getting bit by ants.

Sticking my head out the van windows.

Hanging in a hammock.

Learning more Spanish.

Before meal chats with Sandra and Teresa our cooks.

Tortillas, tortillas, and more tortillas.

Pb&j lunches.

Chicken nugget dates at Pollo Granjero.

Lots of stops for Ice cream at Sarita.

Seeing people in town and saying “see you at HOME”

Grabbing coke at the mini mart across the street from our ministry church.

Late night chats with four people shoved on one bunk bed.

Laughing until actual tears of thankfulness come out.

Watching Jesus break my heart into a million pieces just to put them back the way he intended.

Growth in the places I didn’t even know I needed.

Being called higher.

So many big smiles.

There are just about a million things I could share about how life is here in Guatemala.

Can’t believe it’s almost been a month here in this beautiful country.

I love you supporters, thanks for walking alongside.

I appreciate all prayers and encouragement.
