this is a blog I have been wanting to write, but wasn’t sure I had the heart.
people always tell you in life, while growing up, or even walking through life, “find your tribe”, “find the people who encourage you and support you”, “find those godly friendships that point you to the cross”, “find people who feel like sunshine.”
all my life, I have wanted friends who love me hard, encourage me daily, love jesus, and feel good to be around, who radiate good energy and Jesus’ love for them.
junior year was hard, I had just transferred to Shiloh the end of sophomore year, and I didn’t know anyone in my grade. I wasn’t really out there, and I didn’t feel like I had the energy to try to pursue people who didn’t want to pursue me as well.
that summer, Jesus began to show me the plan. The plan he had all along. Piece by piece he started to bring my people together and he began to show me who they were.
senior year— wasn’t easy either. people got in fights. we got distant. things were hard. some people couldn’t get along. just normal human things, but Jesus had a even bigger plan. he gave us that season to grow, and it was an eye opener. he brought us all together. he showed us what the plan was. that after the storm, or after some of the friendships getting distant, was that we needed each other. that the end of our high school season and into the last summer together before we start life, was that WE NEEDED EACH OTHER.
well, here I am introducing you to the people who are going to make saying hard for nine months so hard.
these are my people. my tribe. my bestfriends.

Franny, Frano, AKA Kfran
Sweet Kfran! She really is all things wonderful. She loves you hard. She loves Jesus hard and that is the most important. She lives through grace, and allows Jesus to be her number one. She is the MOST encouraging friend. She will encourage you till the sun goes down, if that what you need. She is the friend you can lean on. She has taught me so much about myself and my identity in Christ. She has loved me endlessly, and given me more grace then I deserve. She is a good definition of what its like to love like Christ. She loves smoothie bowls, country music, artsy things, and she loves her life, and I am so encouraged by the joy she has. She is so funny, and has the best laugh. Like I am not joking. Im going to miss her sweet words and encouragement the most during the race. You’re my #1 frano.
The Loud One, Life Guard, Sarah.

To the person who I use to butt heads with the most, and the person who is just as loud and outgoing as me! Sarah and I have been growing in a friendship these last few months and for that I am so grateful. She is a fierce leader, encourager, and loves the Lord. She is outgoing, and will talk to anyone. She will make you laugh until you cry, and will always volunteer to drive. She is like the mom of our friend group. She gives us bug spray, and saves you from when you’re almost dying in the ocean. Shes totally hipster, and she is about to head over to Austrailia to do the coolest thing. She is a lot of fun to be around, and I love her a lot. I am going to miss Sarahs jokes, and spontaneous stories during the race. I know it will never be boring when I am with her.
Brooksie, Betty, and Rachie
To one of the most unexpected friendships this year. Rachel is one of a kind, and she makes everyone around her laugh. She is kind. She is encouraging. and She loves to make her friends feel loved. Rachel will compliment you forever and ever, and will constantly remind you that she is grateful. She is a blast. The party starts when Rachel walks in. She loves Jesus, and she is so sweet and is so transparent in her walk with Christ. She is spontaneous, and is always down for a fun vacation. She really is so beautiful inside and out, and I am forever grateful to get to love and be her friend. I am going to miss Rachel and all of her fun self on the race next year.
Abby G, Abbs, Abster
MY FIRST FRIEND IN MY GRADE LOOOL. The most unique, and fun person ever right here. If you are ever looking for a good time, you can count Abby G in! Abby loves so well, and is the most supportive friend. Abby will drive you to schlotzkys because its 30 secs away from the school and she hates driving. Abby will get hear ears pierced before the lake so that she can’t get in the lake. Abby will make you eat a protein shake for lunch even tho u a chicken nugget kind of gal. She will eat a pack of fruit snacks for dinner and thats it. Abby is one of the smartest people ever. She has the best work ethic ever. Abby is also very honest with where she’s at and I am so grateful for that. Abby is the sweetest, and she will make you laugh until you pee. I am so thankful for the way Abby has loved me these last two years. I am going to miss the random facetimes and the late night chats about rando things, and I am going to miss her laugh when I am on the race.
Reina, Meggie, Orange
Meg is the friend who always knows what to say. She is the best little poem writer, and is pretty much William Shakespeare. Meg is the sweetest human being, and gives the best freaking hugs. She is gentle and full of passion and grace. She loves her friends so sweetly. Meg loves Jesus and radiates it off of her smile. She is like the slowest person you will ever meet, but she is so worth waiting on. She is a blast, and will make you laugh, “until you pee a river.” she is a beautiful dancer. she is a beautiful person. she is always down for a good adventure. She is the bestest best friend. She loves a good snack, and some coffee. She is literally one of the coolest people ever. She is also literally THE QUIETEST person ever. I love her sweet self. I am going to miss the joy I receive when being around her next year, and my heart can’t handle it.
Mad, Maddog, Madi STAR
Madi stinkin Darr, the person who is literally the same as me. Madi Darr is the friend who is going to tell you the hard things, walk with you through those hard things, and in the end going to love you no matter what. Madi Darr is one of the strongest people I have ever met. She loves Jesus, and she is never afraid to admit when she is struggling, and I am so encouraged by that. She loves her friends and her people deeply. She is also so funny. Like I get a good belly laugh when I am with her. She loves her cat, cfa, and she loves a good night jam session. I am grateful for the seven brew trips, cfa runs, and all the naps in your comfy bed. I am going to miss her attitude, and the laughter she brings to my life the most next year. (p.s. thanks fortalking me into choir)
Chummer, SumSum, SummerBMusic

To the most talented girl ever! Chummer, you’re the best friend ever. Thanks for making us laugh, and being so encouraging. Thanks for being apart of trapezoids with me, and letting Zuke, and Tutsie hang when we are over. I have watched her grow, and become this person who is just radiating Jesus, and who he has made HER to be. You have shown people that you are better than the things that brought you down. I am so thankful that her and I got close this year. Chum is so transparent, and loves trying new things. She really is the most down to earth person ever. She has a beautiful heart, and I am so grateful to get to be her friend. I am going to miss leading worship, laughing, and making all the mems with Chum.
TayTay, Taylur, Tater

Wow. There are so many words I could describe Taylor with, but I think the best one is selfless. I have watched her love her friends, and put them before herself so many times. She really loves her people. She loves worship, Gilmore girls, CFA salads, and bike rides. She loves a good jam session. Taylor loves Jesus, and she is always reminding me that Jesus loves me. I would’ve never expected to be this close to her, but my heart is breaking a little everyday thinking about doing life without her. She is the best friend you could ever ask for. She is a phone call away type of friend. She is the sweetest human you will ever meet. She is also so funny. She also laughs at my jokes and I am so appreciative. I am going to miss my best person, everything about her next year.
