What’s up everybody! For all I know this COULD be my last blog from Argentina, seeing as how we head to Bolivia next week, and Wifi is spotty. So before I tell you more about how wonderful this country has been, I want to give a big shoutout to my friends Ryan George and Tim Doty! Your donations and your faith in me have meant the world, and I look forward to seeing y’all when I get home!

Argentina has been awesome. We may be in the desert, but it is still beautiful. The people here are wonderful. I have loved the YWAM staff, whose willingness to serve us and entertain us has made our stay a true joy. And just so others can see the heart that these young people have for the Lord, here are just a FEW of the ministries we partnered with them in these past few weeks:

-Ropes courses for school kids
-Marriage retreats
-Hosting weddings
-Anti-bullying workshops in schools
-Using Zumba classes to represent Jesus
-Playing with underprivileged kids during local PTA meetings
-Fellowshipping with the indigenous people in the desert regions around Mendoza
-Evangelizing in the streets
-Door to door ministry
-Offering free hugs and pamphlets on street corners
-Deforestation (my personal favorite)
-Dismantling and reassembling greenhouses

These people come from all over the world, and went out of their way to celebrate Thanksgiving with us! Never once did I think that I would get to have actual turkey and gravy for Thanksgiving (Most of these guys at YWAM don’t even celebrate Thanksgiving!)

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I feel obliged to tell you all what I am thankful for, even if I am a few days late . . . I am thankful to have grown up in a home and a family with so much love. I’m thankful for my church family, who got to watch me grow up and has always supported me. I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve had in life, chief among them the opportunity to travel the world representing Christ. I’m thankful for all the loyal friendships I’ve been able to maintain since kindergarten, high school, and college, and all the support these friends have blessed me with. I’m thankful to all my donors, whose financial support allows me to continue on my Race. I’m thankful for the men in my Bible study, who have helped spiritually prepare me for this journey. And most importantly, I am thankful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who continues to mold me into a better man. I pray that all of you who read my blog would know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is good- all the time. Keep the faith, and subscribe to my blog. I am certain the Lord will continue to shine His light upon me, and I want all of you to experience it too!

Here’s a great word I received from a friend of mine today:

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. —Romans 8:38–39.

Pray, donate, and subscribe.
