Well Family,
We are home! We are back in the States and are now beginning the next step of our adventure in Pennsylvania as I (Matt) have began my new job as a Youth Pastor and Kalyn has stepped right back into her role with camp! So many amazing and exciting things God placed before us in this next season.
A wise person on the World Race once told me a great truth regarding transition; “How you end your current season is how you will begin your next.” This is so true! So even though we just ended this season of living overseas, we are able to carry all that we learned into the next season and our perspective regarding what we are leaving will deeply affect our attitudes for the upcoming shift.
We are transitioning with extreme gratitude. We are able to look back at God’s faithfulness this year and be so humbled that He would choose to love us and protect us. We see how incredibly God used us to reach literally thousands in His name and divine appointment. We are also sooo grateful to have the support of you all. YOU made all of this possible. Every story you read on this blog and every story that you may never have heard of because there are just to many to tell, was made possible through your prayers and giving!! We leave this season and end this stage and call on our destinies with great thankfulness in our hearts to God and to you!
One of my favorite passages (Matt) is Psalms 100. In this Psalm David says, “Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with praise.” We are entering this next season the way we left the previous. God has provided this next step for us and we are so amazed and grateful. We will enter with thanksgiving and praise.
TO YOU WHO ARE IN PENNSYLVANIA:
We are going to be doing the impossible this Sunday, Jan 26th, at Journey By Grace Church in Belle Vernon, PA. Sum up this year 🙂 It is impossible to tell it all but we are going to share the goodness of God and the things that we were so blessed to experience this year at 6:30 PM with all who would be able to attend! If you are able to make it we will be blessed by your presence and those who can’t (or are not even in the state of PA) we are so thankful for you and remember you always in our hearts!
To God be the Glory and forever in His name and Grace, we sign off and move forward knowing that it never really ends,
Matthew and Kalyn Ledford
