This week was a huge victory for The Kingdom of Christ on earth.
So many amazing conversations and new life was given through the sacrifice of Christ and we are so grateful to be a part of His love to these people. There was something beyond words that we want to share with you that took place this week. Gaze and take in the beauty of the following few pictures and read on to understand why this is more powerful than even we can every know.
The leader of this Ministry was talking to us one day and made one the most interesting statements that will stick with us for a long time, “This ministry is tough because it is like we are trying to disciple moving targets.” See this ministry is to people who are here today and gone tomorrow with no notice. The truckers show up and hope to get a load as soon as possible and sometimes that happens in a few days and sometimes that happens in a few weeks or even months. No one knows when the boss will come by and give the orders to get a load that arrived and they will be back on the road to the country they came from in West Africa. It is so special to see this young man who will call “Alan” for fun who has been truly discipled by these amazing men here. It is so beautiful to see God radically change someones life and then they pursue after God with their whole heart in such a short amount of time. What is even more astonishing is how incredible these men are at actually discipling moving targets. That is another topic for another time but MANNN it is so special to watch.
SOOO what you just saw above is a miracle in itself that he has been around long enough to get to this point where he wants to publically declare His faith in Christ. See the bosses are typically all Muslim and many people will conform to what they say because they sign their check. They are in control of where they are sent and how far from their families they go. To, in front on many, say that your life belongs to Christ is often putting a big X on your back so this takes true conviction of the love and goodness of God. This baptism of our new brother is truly a powerful moment of The Kingdom on earth that reminds how deep and moving the mercy of God in Our Lord Jesus Christ really is. His life has been forever changed and now he is in the family. You have just seen a brother who will face more persuction that we may ever in our entire lifetime but he has seen the glory of Jesus and counts it worth it all. Jesus is still in the business of taking back his children from the kingdom of darkness and transferring them to The Kingdom of Light.
We were so humbled to be a part of this heavenly moment, so lets join together and pray for our new brother and continue to pray for those who will follow in this way and suffer many things we cannot understand. We want to challenge you when you read this to take 5 minutes per day this week to pray for our brother “Alan” especailly, but also for our brothers and sisters in Christ that are facing real persecution on a daily basis for the name of Jesus. For Gods protection, Strength, truth, and goodness to always be before them no matter their surrounding circumstances.
