After a couple 10 hour bus rides, we finally made it to the border of Panama. We were so blessed the night before to stay with the Dickson family is San Jose, Costa Rica. It was truly amazing to see how God provides so much for His children…especially when they least expect it. We arrived in Volcan, Panama around 11PM last night and were immediately greeted by our ministry contact Albin. He is truly amazing and is so full of life. There are two other teams that are with us right now and we will all split up tomorrow as two teams (one is our team) will head to Bocas del Toro (Mouth of the Bull) to do ministry there. It has been really great having this many teams together at the church in Volcan.

We only know a little bit more about the ministry we will doing next month with the tribe. We will working with a minister in Bocas del Toro and that will help us with the tribe. With what we have been told, they are a very friendly and shy people. They are very open to outsiders and really try to bless anyone that comes to serve them. We will be evangelizing through different parts of the village while we are there. I’ve been reading in 2 Timothy 2 lately how God is always faithful, even when we are not because God cannot be anything other than faithful to His children. He has so immensely blessed me and my team and am so excited to see what He will teach us with this tribe in the jungle!
