Just a quick note to let everyone know that we now have the race video up of Lima, Peru and you’ll have to check it out! The footage is awesome! I kind of wanted the race to have an “Amazing Race” feel to it and I think that’s what we got!!! The racers did everything from swim in the Pacific, to eat cow’s heart (which really is like steak, only it’s really chewy), to walking through the catacombs and finishing at a look out on top of the city.

Special thanks to Bob Cooley for putting everything together for me on this end right down to the very last detail. It made my job much easier, made everything flow, and all the racers loved it!!! Thanks also to your family, Ricky, Ed and Barbara for all the work you guys put into it and for “running the checkpoints”. 🙂 Also, thanks to Sandra, back home, for telling us about the bell story for the first destination. PS – you are right, your country is beautiful!!! 🙂

I’d love for more people back home to help us out with putting together the races. If you have been to any of the spots we are going to or have heard of neat things to do while we are there and would like to see it be part of a future race, please e-mail me at [email protected] I’ve never been to the places that we are going to, so to get some info from people who have already been there would be awesome!! The next races that I need to have set up soon are…

Johannesburg, South Africa

Thanks for all your help and stay tuned for more exciting races ahead! 🙂
