There’s nothing like being a missionary… because you have to
raise your own financial support.  It’s
truly a humbling thing to do, to walk up to people and ask them if they would
pray about supporting you so you might be able to make that flight to Africa,
South America, Asia… or even to just put food on the table for the night.  It takes an enormous amount of faith and
courage to ask.  So, I’ve made a list of
five reasons you should think about supporting me.  And, please, really do consider it.

1.
National
AND International Travel.
  One of the
fun aspects of being a missionary is that you get to travel internationally to
places like Africa… but in being on staff with the World Race I get to travel
across the US, too.  Why?  We’re mobilizing a generation… and I can’t
exactly mobilize that generation when I can’t get to it to train it up.  By supporting me, you would help cover my
travel costs.

2.       Do you
want to change the world?
  I don’t
say this lightly, but by supporting me you would be making an investment in
changing the world.  Part of my job is to
send out the missionaries to those places like the African bush or the Peruvian
orphanages.  The lives that I help
mobilize and send out are the lives that change lives that, well… change the
world.  Are you interested in changing
the world?  Then click here.

3.
I like to
eat.
  Let’s face it – it’s hard to
live long without food.  I know Jesus
went forty days without eating anything and there are stories of other Biblical
greats achieving the same feat; however, I’m not sure I’m called to fast the
entire time I’m working this year.  It
would probably kill me.  By supporting
me
, you would be making an investment into putting food in my belly and helping
sustain me and give me strength to empower a generation.  Help me eat.

4.
Sow a
blessing, reap a blessing.
  The
motivation for this sounds off and I swear I’m not preaching the prosperity
gospel, but this is true.  If you sow a
curse into someone’s life, you’ll probably reap a curse.  If you sow love, you reap love.  If you raise a child to be horrendous, you’ll
reap the responsibility of having to deal with that horrendous child.  Kind of like… I think if you sow into the
work I’m doing, you’ll reap something equally as amazing.  What would happen if you put even $20 in my
support account
?  Maybe God would somehow
bless you with $40 or a free vacation to Disneyland.  There’s only one way to find out.

5.
“On earth
as it is in heaven.”
  My heart is to
raise the dead and to see the Kingdom of God manifested everywhere I go.  Part of my mission beginning this year isn’t
to only see God’s Kingdom come in places like the bars of the Nana
Entertainment District or the tea fields of Malawi.  No, my heart is to also see God’s Kingdom – our
inheritance – be expanded powerfully within the boundaries of America.  My goal is to plug in here State-side.  By supporting me financially, you would be
enabling me to do so… to discover and implement ways of seeing the Kingdom
truly come in America.

Again, these aren’t the only reasons you should support me
but they are a few.  My support goal for
this year is $20,000 to cover all the costs of travel, lodging, food, living
expenses, and ministry expenses.  If you
would consider supporting me financially through any amount either a one-time
or monthly pledge… that would be great.
$10?  $20?  $100?
Whatever is on your heart.  All
donations are tax-deductible… which is great because April 15th is
right around the corner.

You can support me here.
Or if you would rather mail in a check, let me know and I’ll “snail mail”
you a support card.  I’m also looking for
prayer warriors to pray for me, oh… maybe a few times a week.  If you’re interested, leave a comment and I’ll
add you to my prayer-supporter list where you’ll receive updates once a week.

Thank you!
