I have an immediate family of four, but an extended family that keeps growing.  My dad has a lot of brothers and sisters who have lots of kids who, well, are having lots of kids.  I’m probably closest with my mom’s side.  I love both of them though.  Sometimes I think it’s weird how families eventually merge together.

We were talking about one of them the other day.  Knowing that my family reads my blog, I’m going to avoid mentioning names and genders because I don’t want anybody to get offended that I’m not talking about them.  (Sorry y’all!)

But we were saying how consistent the one is.  It doesn’t matter how much they did without growing up – they’re still the same.  We were saying that even if they had a ridiculously big house that it would be no big deal.  They’re response would only be, “I can fit more people in here!”  And that relative of mine would willingly invite strangers in (and does).

While most would flaunt their blessings and success in front of others, this particular relative of mine finds more joy in sharing it.

So how do you give?  Are you like that?  I want to be like that.  I share what little I have (sometimes).  I want to get to that point that I share it all though.  It’s something to think about…
