To learn more about this ministry and how and why I’ve gotten here, read below…
I stepped into the lifestyle of a missionary in January 2008 when I began my journey with the World Race. I did not know what to expect other than I was being obedient to a call that I felt was being placed on my life. For one year, I traveled all over the world living with and serving some of the poorest of the poor, from the jungles of Peru, to the bush of Africa, all of the way to the crowded streets of India. It ended up being more than a mission trip, but a pilgrimage of sorts that helped me discover my identity and my passions while making a difference across the world.
I have been to over 14 countries since 2008 and God has only expanded the call of my life in the world of mission work. After returning home from the mission field, I went on staff with Adventures In Missions (AIM) in 2009, the parent organization of the World Race. I began by helping ‘here and there’ and served in places that needed help. Eventually I found that I had a knack for mobilizing individuals my age, getting them from their parents’ living room sofa and onto the mission field.
My role continues to grow and expand. I help train missionaries, get opportunities to travel and meet with teams overseas on occasion, lead short-term trips, facilitate worship at camps, and much more. I love my job!
I love that God has given me a voice and that I am learning how to use it. I love that each day, I get up and work for an organization that sends out thousands of missionaries every year, that has a presence in over 70 countries, and is constantly making a lasting impact by making disciples one by one.
One of the best parts about working for AIM is that I raise support to work for the organization. This means that I raise the funds necessary to keep my position on staff. AIM does this so that the dollars that are donated can go straight to the mission field. I say that this is one of the best parts of working for AIM because it’s such a simple way to involve more people in such an impactful ministry!
So I am looking for people to partner with me in this ministry who would like to be credited with helping mobilize and disciple a generation of young adults all over the world. I am in need of individuals or families who are willing to support me for $25, $50, or $100 per month. I have a support goal of $20,000 for this year. Your support will enable me to continue my position on staff. All donations are tax-deductible.
Please prayerfully consider being a part of this ministry. When you decide how much you would like to give you are able to do so online by clicking here. Remember, no amount is too small!
Again, I would love to have you become a part of this ministry! The world of missions is incredible and the need across the United States and the world are great. Adventures In Missions is doing a great job responding to the cry of those in desperation and I am honored to be a part of such a ministry. I cannot wait for you to become a part of it either!
