After a 20 hour drive via Niagara Falls with my sister, I made it back to Kansas on Saturday from Michigan. I think that it single-handedly goes down as the longest road trip I’ve ever taken in the States. It was a long drive.

But we did see this:

The Falls on the American side

Jessica (my sister) and I in front of the falls

That’s a rainbow (two, actually) looking towards the Rainbow bridge to the US.

 Horseshoe Falls

I spoke yesterday morning at University Friends Church on the World Race, met with a September 2010 World Racer yesterday afternoon. I’m scheduled to meet with two others interested in the Race this week and I’m speaking on human trafficking Tuesday night at a coffee shop downtown (I’ll post more details on tomorrow’s blog). Needless to say, it’s going to be a very busy week.

Why am I in Kansas? I’m trying to raise the rest of my financial support for the year! I am almost 100% fully funded! It’s such a blessing. I only have about $3700 more dollars to go (about $370/month). If you feel so led to help me get there, you can do so by clicking this link.

At this point, all I can say is that it’s good to be home with my family. They’re wonderful and do all that they can to make me feel ‘at home’ even though I haven’t lived here for so long. One of these days I’m going to get some time back to Kansas unannounced and just hang out with them. Or maybe one of these days they’ll actually come visit me where I’m at… *coughhintchoughmom*

Anyway, my apologies for my lack in posting the last few days. I’ve been traveling and busy. I’m going to try to get more Niagara photos and a road trip video up soon. It just depends if I can find time to edit them…
