I posted this a few weeks ago on another blog that I author, but I felt like it was appropriate to share with you all today.

I feel like too many people live their lives for themselves.  Sounds
selfish, I know, but we all do it.  Too many Christians breathe day in
and day out without making a change.  It’s kind of like John Mayer’s
song, “waiting on the world to change,” which  immediately makes me think
back to Ghandi’s classic statement, “be the change you want to see in
the world.”

What if we started actually being the “change” that we want to see?

The truth is that you don’t have to have it all together before
helping somebody.  You don’t have to be perfect.  You don’t have to
have a college degree.  You don’t have to be rich.  You don’t have to
be poor.  You don’t even have to be American.

You can be a normal person in the midst of a normal world who’s trying to do something that should be ordinary.

Because, really, everything that you are not… I AM is in you.

And once you believe that truth, you can change something for eternity.
