I’m straying from my traditional Friday update this week. I know, I know. In all honesty, there hasn’t been a whole lot going on that’s outside of the ordinary, so nothing should surprise you too much. I do have a request though. It’s a big request if you’re willing to help me out with it.
I need prayer.
I’ve reached that place where I’m needing some real audible type of words from the Lord. To spare you from too much honesty, I just need some clarity. If you wouldn’t mind praying today and asking the Lord for some insight for me, I would more than appreciate that.
If you’re not familiar with asking God for words for people, here’s some advice:
1. Ask God to talk to you
2. Remember that it’s more than words sometimes. Sometimes it’s a song, a verse that randomly pops into your head, or a picture.
3. Remember that nothing’s usually random
My plan is to spend the majority of the day away, recharging, and listening to what the Lord has to say. No cellphone. No email. Just me and Jesus.
