It was a great joy to spend our tenth month in Romania!!  Here’s a brief run through… (pictured above is our team over looking a specific area where we ministered)

And below.. Hope Baptist Church..

For a couple days we did an outreach in Bulgaria.  This was pretty cool… it was another very cold place towards the gospel.  We mostly did street evangelism…  the goal being to eventually plant a church in the area.

cool story too… so our teams arrived there with no Bulgarian translator… and who walks up to one of our people… a saved, on fire for Jesus, older lady who said that God told her to come to the park today!!  And so there it was, we had a translator!  God provides!!  This lady was old and full of joy.. and you know what the first words out of her mouth were as she was introduced to our group… “I need a hug… I haven’t had a christian hug in sooo long!”

That was precious!  And so we all got to give and receive hugs from this lady…

some kids running next to a cow…

We did a fair amount of work around the church, cleaning, rearranging, helping out with service.  And we got to help out in laying brick for the church entrance which was some nice manual labor…

We had the joy of meeting a Texas mission team that had also come to help out at the same church… and the greatest blessing?… we were able to have them get in touch with actually another team from Texas that was on their way… and they brought us Taco shells with Mexican seasoning!!  So here it is, our homemade Mexican night!!!  I was just kidding about that being the greatest blessing… these people were incredible! and such a refreshment to our hearts!

Here they are!!  We all worked very well together… it was cool to hear their stories as well as them ask us about our journey…  I think the first time I’ve actually tried to put into words in person with someone about the trip, someone who doesn’t have a clue what we’ve been through but someone who also can understand me and i understand them…

They were full of life… dang!! We all thought we were doing a pretty good job till this team showed up… or i guess, its just made it clear how completely exhausted we are.  They show up for 10 days and give it everything they have, full of life and energy.. we all just sat back in awe!

Me preaching at a gypsy church!

Me hanging with some gypsy chillins!!

This is our celebration and goodbye lunch with one of the missionaries and his family (we spent a week with him in his village)… plenty of sausage to go around!!

Trampoline fun at the end of the month!!  i think i am going to try and combine preaching the gospel with my cheerleading gift when i get back to the states!

Front flip… i promise i landed this!!  but i can’t say it was the smartest idea… i’m getting old!!

one highlight of the month for sure… we got to go to “probably the best pizza place in town!”  Was it??…. probably.

excited about some evangelism… or… just had some caffeine?  you make the call!

Praise God for another wonderful month!!  May His name be exalted in all the earth!!
