first things first… i have internet, wifi, at the place where i am staying!!!  matter of fact… i am lying in my bed right now typing this blog… it is a miracle indeed!!  and with reliable internet, i am able to post pictures… i am usually never able to fulfill my desire as far as pictures go… and i know back home they really help get a better “picture’, so sorry about that…

secondly…. here is a bunch of random pics from this past month in india!!

check out the white Jesus overlooking the main intersection of town!  He’s probably tired and hungry… but then again… He’s God…

an easy highlight of the month… hanging out at the waterfall in the midst of bathing Indians…

apart from the awkwardness of the moment… the water felt quite nice… a good change to the 120 degree heat…

some nice boats…

our team reached the southern tip of India… three bodies of water coming together here… Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal

here.. i’m wearing a helmet… while reading “Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers… If you haven’t read it… go get it and read it, then give it to someone… one of the most influential books i have ever read… read it in two days and wept like a baby when i was done

thirsty… real thirsty…

this is a shout out to all you women who have started keeping your cell phones in your bra (you know who you are)… well… here is the man version… the Indian “man skirt”…

This is a tuk-tuk… famous in Asia… i will miss them dearly!!  they are all decorated in some garb, be it secular or religious… totally chill to ride in… we need these in the states… its basically a motor bike with a cabin thrown on top, three seater in the back…

I’ve had enough…

i gave Asher the comb… and this is what he came up with… when he was finished, he says in his little Indian accent… “dis is my father’s hairstyle!”  i dig…

Little bananas… they are so much fun!!!  more fun to peel than eat… but so much fun…

my colorful team.. wonderful saints of God!!!

what am i… a golf ball?

No one wears shoes into places.. if they have em’, especially in temples… so isn’t this nice… “We’ll hold your shoes for you… on the house!”

i haven’t seen a trashcan in like 5 months… then all of a sudden i see like twenty of these things… can anybody… i mean, anybody, explain this to me!!!

Walking up to the temple… this was the sign… sobering and comical… and just sad all at the same time… rather maybe it should say, “each soul immortal, potentially spending eternity in heaven or hell, with or without Jesus.”

preaching…

Who knew FCA not only existed in southern India, but donated this bus stop?

I’m not sure who this guy is… but he must work out…

brota and some type of chicken curry, with tea… a nice meal with orphans…

Raichael… the mom of the house… she served us night and day, literally, cooking and taking care of us in every way… unbelievable… she had a dream that foreigners were coming to her house… so she went out and bought silverware on faith… a cool story, at the time there was no liklihood of that ever happening… amazing woman!!

Who knew Lexus made irons… not I!

tea break during ministry… they were always fun…

preaching at a bible college…

Highest quality place mats you will ever eat on… made naturally by the Creator Himself…

it was a good month… not the easiest… nor the coolest… but a good month.  Thank you Jesus for the opportunity to serve in southern India!!! now off to Romania!!!
