This whole process of Support raising, quitting jobs, making sure bills are taken care of while Im gone, it has forced me into a deeper trust with the Lord. Without Him none of this would have happened by now. In my rational mind there are so many questions of things that are to come, but every step of the way I hear that small voice saying “Trust, Trust me Matthew”. This has significantly has increased my faith & Ive seen Him at work in my life and the lives of my squamates every single day, its pretty crazy to think about. Whenever I feel like I have so far to go He shows up and is there, never letting me down.
Part of the reason for raising support is to invite others (thats you, reading this) into the process that otherwise you may not get to be a part of for various reasons. When you support me and my squad on this journey, you’re not just giving to me, but to His Kingdom. You are part of the furthering of the Gospel and carrying out the Great Commission to reach every nation, tribe, and tongue. You will be partnering with me and my squad carrying the gospel to the 10/40 window, the area of the world with the largest body of Unreached People Groups (thats the every nation, tribe, and tongue part). Ultimately that is the goal, and should be the goal for every Christian on the planet.
Over the next few weeks I will be support raising every moment I am not at work, and maybe even a few while Im at work, but don’t tell the boss! I would ask that each of you reading this take this before God and ask how much to give towards my next goal/benchmark of $10,000 by launch.
