that you want to know a little something more about who I am, that or
someone happened to tell you that I have never blogged before and you
thought it might be entertaining to read my first attempt. Either
way you are welcome to keep reading. Just remember to keep you hands
inside the cart at all times and please don’t feed the animals.
will help you get to know me. I love the outdoors! Camping, hiking,
the ocean, the mountains, the further away from department buildings
and car engines the better. Don’t get me wrong, I love honking my
horn for no reason in the middle of gridlock as much as the next guy
but nothing beats a warm campfire and the smell of pine trees or the
sound of waves on the beach. Needles to say I also like to travel
and I try to do so as much as possible. Life is to short to just
stay at home all the time. God made some really cool stuff when He
made the earth, it would be a shame to not see as much of it as
possible while your here.
into rock climbing and though I’ve only done it a few times I gatta
say I’m hooked. Boarding is great too. Snowboarding, wake-boarding,
long-boarding, surfing (It just doesn’t seem right to call it
“surf-boarding”) all good stuff. I’m also a big fan of music.
I will listen to just about anything but country. I know I know,
“…your living in the wrong city if you don’t like country music.”
Be that as it may its just not the stuff for me. I even try to play
a little music myself from time to time. If you haven’t heard my
CD…. well that’s probably because I don’t have one, but if I did I
guarantee it would be just the thing to accompany anyone who likes to
sing in the shower. Thankfully the Bible only says to make a joyful
noise unto the Lord and nothing about it being on key.
somewhere along the way I decided that I had a better plan for my
life than God and for a time I made a lot of bad choices that all
basically led me to a dead end. I was about 19 when I finally came
running back to God and at that time I made the transition from just
believing in Jesus to actually following Him. Since then God has had
me on what I like to call the “Faith Roller Coaster.” Some times
the twists and turns give me a weird feeling in my stomach and I’m
not always sure what is around the next corner but I know He is in
control and if I just sit back and let Him guide me the ride can be a
lot of fun.
Hopefully you were able to learn a little something about me from
reading this or at the very least I hope you were entertained.
Seriously though I really feel very blessed to be a part of this
mission trip and I cant wait to see how God will use me during this
next chapter of my life.
