So i am hoping some of you out there caught my Talladega Nights reference when Will Ferrell wins the race and then in his interview has no clue what to do with his hands! Well that is sort of how i feel about this whole blogging aspect of the Race. I am at best an amateur when it comes to blogging so hopefully in the next 16 or so months i will figure this thing out lol.
It has been 3 days since i received the phone call that told me i had been selected to go on The World Race. SURREAL is the word i will use for how i felt that day and the days since. I am so excited to embark on this incredible journey with some amazing people that will no doubt become family. Geez, i can't wait!!!
Also i have to give a special shoutout to R squad and my close friend Kadie Tabor who is in Bulgaria right now sharing the love of Christ to many people. If not for her going on The World Race, i quite possibly would have never heard about this incredible opportunity. Sending prayers your way girl!
