This quote is from Unfinished by Richard Stearns. I like this quote because it signifies what it means to be a part of His kingdom and that we all have something significant to contribute. I believe God has made us for a call.
For the past 5 years I have been looking into the possibility of applying to the World Race. You might be wondering, what is the World Race?
The World Race is an 11 month missions trip to 11 countries around the world. It is through Adventures in Missions and has been established since 2006. I will be serving in Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Philippines, Thailand, Burma and Cambodia.
I am so thrilled that this time has come!!! A lot has happened in the past 5 years, but my excitement around this opportunity has remained the same. I have peace about this decision. Yet, I am both excited and unsure of what is to come in this next season of my life on this WR journey. I realize I cannot prepare myself for a life event like this one.
This next year I will be busy fundraising and preparing for this time. My blog will be a source of reflection and documentaion of my stories from my experiences of how God is working throughout the kingdom along the way.
