This month God has been teaching myself a lot about trusting in Him. My team has no main contact and it’s our ministry to find new contacts for future mission trips to Malawi. It’s been incredible coming across the people God has placed along our path. We’ve found most of our new ministries by word of mouth and networking; just being in the community people often ask why we’re in Malawi. For example: On our first day my team needed to make it to the grocery store where we made our first network! Which then lead us where God blessed us with a Christian college community and also a home for my team to spend Christmas week for free! This month has been one of the most exciting by far, because we never know what’s next.
God has also been refining me in trust with my approaching deadline coming up by the new year to be fully funded. It’s been incredible to experience the generosity of my friends and family, and this 16 month fundraising journey has been a humbling and teaching time.
