I am so happy to announce that I am fully funded (well, officially 2 weeks ago!). Yep, that’s right, thanks to all the incredibly generous donations from my friends, family and even people I’ve never met, now not even halfway through my journey, you have donated enough to allow me to remain on the World Race, serving God, for the entire 11 month period. I can’t say thank you enough to each and every one of you for making this possible and we will be forever grateful for your generosity. While I never doubted the money would be raised, I am still in awe of the way God provided for this trip. Before the money was raised and still now, I know that He called me out of the mundane and into this adventure and I’m so thankful to be representing you across the world.
I’ve been asked a lot what my favorite fundraiser was or which fundraisers I recommend the most, but I have to be honest with those who ask: I never did a fundraiser. Never had a car wash or a garage sale. No fundraising events. I didn’t even send out that many support letters. What I did have was an unflinching belief that God was going to act, and provide the money. I followed up this trust with follow-up calls, emails and meetings, but it was all done out of obedience and expectation knowing the money would come.
If you’re a future Racer, or are even on the Race right now, and the money seems like such an impossible mountain to climb, please just believe. If He called you, He will provide. It’s really as simple as that. Stop doubting yourself. Stop doubting God. He WILL provide, but He NEEDS you to believe!

If anybody would like to continue their support of my mission, there is still a need for additional funds. The $16,285 required for this trip covers my travel, lodging, insurance, and around $5-$7 a day for food and other expenses (depending on what country we are in). As such, Racers are required to use personal money to supplement our allowance through The World Race.
