Yes…I am still using this blog. I know it has been almost two month since I
posted anything, but don’t let that fool you. I am still alive and well, gearing up for the next transition. A few weeks ago I sent out a letter via the
regular mail system…yes, the courier mail system still exists and I even know
how to use it in this digitally crazed society. If you didn’t receive a letter it means that you are not on my mailing
list and if you would like to be just send me a message by clicking here

Anyway, the letter was just an update thanking my supporters
and letting them know that I am back from Haiti. Over the past few weeks I’ve been spending time in Ohio and Oklahoma visiting family and friends. The next step for me is moving down to
Gainesville, GA. While I don’t have a
definitive plan once I get there I do feel like God is calling me there for at
least a year. There are so many
possibilities that I can see coming out of my time there, but my main goals are
to be mentored, continue living in radical community, and to pursue the vision
of international development/discipleship that God has put on my heart. I am going to be living with three other guys
I met in Haiti. We have committed to
submit ourselves to key leaders with Adventures in Missions, live and build
community where we live, and push each other in the visions God has placed on
our hearts.

Coming back from Haiti I had a clean slate and a blank page
in front of me. Honestly, if I was going
to pick a place to live in the US it would probably be somewhere in California
and not Georgia. However, God has shown
me the importance of not only what I am doing and where I’m pursuing it, but
who I am doing it with. The quality of
people that I’ll be living around is something I know God is going to use to
challenge and encourage me with. I’ve
realized that I have to surround myself with people that will push me and that
I can do the same with…I can’t make this journey on my own…and I wasn’t created
to. I’m excited for what’s ahead.  I know it is going to be an exciting time of
growth. Please continue to pray for
wisdom and boldness to follow Christ wherever He leads.

Plenty more to come….
