We’re unfortunately winding down with our time here in Viile Tecii…but we sure aren’t slowing down with ministry opportunities.  Let me catch you up on what’s been happening this past month.  We’ve been putting on a Kids Club/VBS program, playing with kids at a local orphanage, went to a gypsy festival as the honored American guests, tore down and built two walls that were falling down in a home, went to anywhere from two to five church services on Sunday, and we’ve just finished up a pastor’s conference we put on this weekend.

It would take forever to expand on all of this, but I can summarize the majority of it by saying that this month has been characterized by people longing to know Christ better…in our own community, and the new one we’ve been a part of here in Romania.  God is working on a lot of us in similar areas, but in unique ways.  I don’t have time now, but I look forward to sharing what lessons I’m in the process of learning and how community is shaping me to be more like Christ.  For now, I’ll just defer to some pictures that will hopefully share a little about what life’s like here in Romania…

A game of Duck, Duck, Goose is always fun.                                                        Kids club isn’t just for kids.

Playing some more games.                                              Friends from Viile Tecii all dressed up at the festival.

Berries fresh from the mountains.                     Building a wall with Tony and Abi (our host father…for the guys house).

One of the many new churches we get to help out on Sundays.             This cow got a little lost trying to get home…

A couple of the local pastors taking notes at the conference we put on.             Making new friends and loving on them.
Found this guy on the side of the road…I still wish we could have made him our first team pet.
