Yesterday was our last day in Da Nang. I am currently on hour sixteen of a twenty-three hour bus ride back to Saigon. ( Post editing note: that bus ride actually only took seventeen hours. Dont ask me how the driver made up six hours on the road) Da Nang was a awesome time for my team and me. We learned new things about ourselves and the world around us.
Yesterday morning on our way out we went to a full Vietnamese service at a church we had been helping with. This church is amazing. The people are amazing. The music is amazing. The pastor was amazing.
We were even join by a local that my teammate Jonathan had been working with to come to know Chri$t. He was so impressed. He told me that the pastor was blowing his mind and that he had never heard some of these things. That alone, we all agreed, was enough to make this entire month a success. If only one person came to know Chri$t because of us being there, what more could we ask for?
