A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
– Proverbs 18:24
I’ve been blessed with amazing friends. I have met alot of people over the years and they expand from Alaska to Florida, from Eastern Canada to Vancouver. I’m an extremely relational being and it’s been rewarding. Just like in the 18th Proverb, I have come to ruin. I’ve been dissapointed, I’ve been hurt, I’ve been lonely over the years. Yet God has blessed me with a few friends that have been brothers to me. They come from all different backgrounds, different circumstances of me meeting them, and yet they are all trustworthy and amazing companions.
My love for the outdoors has been hightened due to the freinds that I have. There’s always someone to go on an adventure with and there’s always someone to talk to. the most amazing part that I so often take for grated is that they enjoy each other just as much as I enjoy them! Amen!!
4 of such friends of mine have an appetite for getting out and living life. We would rather spend time out in the boonies than in downtown Winnipeg. This past year has been a fun one as we’ve taken on more trios than I can count….and now their starting to feel like one big trip! Here’s a video I made a few months back that is actually the intro for a “feature length” adventure one that is still in the works. I love these guys with all my heart and would travel off the beaten path anytime!!
This movie is dedicated to Ryan, Steve, Spencer, and Derek….gonna miss you guys in 2008!!
