So here we are now in Cochabamba, Bolivia! A new country, a new landscape, and a new adventure! We are currently housed in a large missionary house in the foothills around the city of Cochabamba. Life is pretty fun right now. Things are cheap here (the Boliviano is 1/7 of the dollar) and easy to get around. Our ministries this week have been serving in a few orphanages. That has included of course playing with the orphans, painting, cutting grass with a machete (my favorite job so far), baby washing in the central plaza, and other various chores that need to be done.
Another huge ministry this week has been serving one another as a squad. We take take turns every night and trade off who cooks dinner for everyone. And so here’s a small glimpse of what Team Open Road had prepared for supper………..PIZZA!

Michelle and I “cutting the cheese”!

Meredith taking the crusts out of the packages!

Kelton putting the pizzas into the oven and of course taking them out!

An amazing example of the pizza that is on deck for cooking!

Kim slicing up the the pizza!

Our dear teammates Caroline and Becki enjoying our finished product!

Our satisfied customers Rachel and our ministry partner Kristen!
So to cap off this blog, please note that the pizza was amazing. I do not say this out of a biased opinion, but rather a common AMEN! from the team! It was a fun night serving our teammates in such a small way as making pizza for a group of hard working missionaries!
