I’d like to start by telling each and every one of you thank you for your
support, both financially and through prayer, over this last year. The
World Race has definitely made an impact in my life and I’d like to
share a little more about how and what’s next for me.

So it has
been three months since I arrived back in the US of A and it has flown
by. It has definitely had its ups and downs. I have loved getting back
to my family and friends, and although I still haven’t even been able to
see and talk to everyone yet, I’ve had an awesome time together with
those of you who I have been able to see.

Coming home was way
different than I expected! The World Race does a good job of coaching us
through the re-entry process before we head back home, but I honestly
thought, “Yeah right, I don’t need this.”

But what a wall I hit
when I got home–it was the hardest transition and time period I have
ever had. It made eating bugs and living out of a backpack seem like a
walk in the park.

However, I got through it! I had a lot of
moments when I just cried out to God, asking him what was next and where
he could use me. Through the race, my passion for youth and young
adults grew and I felt like God was calling me there, but I had no idea
how. Job opportunities would come, but I never felt truly at peace with
them.

Until now.

In one week I will be moving to
Gainesville, Georgia, to continue working with Adventures in Missions.
After some extensive talks with God and Jimmy McCarty, (World Race Program Director), I’ve made the decision to leave again.

I will be
working in the recruiting department, and will travel to different
universities, churches and events speaking to college aged and young
adults about going out on the mission field.

Why? Because after
being on the race my life is FOREVER changed. The problems that exist in
the world cannot go ignored and I can’t change them alone. What was a
small whisper of discontent is now a constant yelling. What were statistics of
poverty and illness are now faces. God has called me to do something,
and I know it’s more than a me sized problem.

“There is a generation of radicals whose
heartbeat is to see a changed world. It’s a generation that’s
dissatisfied with the status quo and is actively rising to the challenge
of seeing the world transformed through tangible expressions of God’s
love. World Racers are seeing lives changed in nations all over the
world.â€ – Michael Hindes

My job is to find them, connect with them, and show them how to bring change to a dying world.

Now,
in order for this to happen I have to raise 10k over the next 6 months,
and 3k of that in the next week before I move to Georgia. I need
partners. I need people who BELIEVE in what I am doing, and believe that
God is doing work on this earth through this organization. Because of
YOU thousands of people were told about Jesus, and saw the work and
actions of Jesus through my team. Starving children were fed; the naked
were clothed; kids who never had a shot at an education had their
education paid for; churches were beyond blessed by donations and
support; people were healed; the list goes on. I cannot thank you enough
for what you’ve done.

But it isn’t over.

Please partner
with me, believe in what I am doing, and more importantly believe in
what God is doing across the globe and here in the U.S.
