So we all landed safely.  I am laying in a bed (thank you Jesus), its almost 8am here.  I just slept 10 hours straight!  JET LAGGED!  But I think today will be much better.

I have been laying low on the music side of things for the most part.  I brought my guitar but as far as leading goes, I haven’t volunteered.  Why? Well that’s a good question.  I have been defined as the music guy since I graduated back in 2008.  I want to know if I am more than this.  Which is 1 reason I joined the World Race.  I want to know what all is clanking around in that spirit of mine.  But one night of launch, one of the leaders heard me doodle on the guitar, she immediately asked if I would play with her that night.  I did, and then again, and then again.  haha, and I liked it.  Maybe music is just in my DNA.  And the Lord is willing to pursue my sound. I am honored, and humbled, and broken, and all the good things that make you get to where you actually want to be!  I am blessed.

On an entirely separate note, one of my goals was to see a crocodile here. Upon arriving at KIM (Kid’s International Ministries), I met Kyle.  This is Jeff’s (the man who runs KIM) son.  He was like let me show you something, I followed.  I wasn’t ready.  In his walk in shower was a small crocodile.  WHAT? Yes, a small crocodile.  Since one of my goals was to see one in the Philippines, God thought it a good idea to make it happen.  Along with this crocodile were turtles, one of which was a snapper.  Accompanying this array of reptiles was a display of around 6 snakes.  One of which is a 7ft constrictor, while another is a foot long, GREEN VIPER! Yep.  A deadly poisonous snake.

“Wanna see them eat?” said Kyle.  There are a few things in life the answer is an obvious yes…this was that moment.  I videoed it, I will upload it whenever I can get a solid connection. Yeah, its nuts.

THE RACE HAS BEGUN!
