Dear Warriors
I am writing this blog from a place of complete humbleness and awe of what God did with my last blog Dear suicide. I thank all of you so much for reading it and sharing it with your loved ones. My prayer was that it would impact at least one person. God took that and multiplied my prayer in ways only He can.
This blog is a practical guide to depression and suicide. I want to share my own personal experience and truth from God to help you take your next step. My prayer is that by the end of this you will have the strength and confidence to keep fighting and send the demon that is tormenting you back to the pits of hell where they came from.
Understand that you have been chosen as a son or daughter.
“4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-“ Ephesians 1:4-5
You have been adopted by the King of kings, which means you are royalty. This isn’t some fluff to make you feel good, though I pray it does, this is truth. You have been chosen to be a part of an eternal kingdom that will last past this lifetime. You are His because he has chosen you.
I know how they, your demons work. They try and get you alone away from those around you. In this loneliness they have your undivided attention and can tell you whatever they want. They speak to you like you are nothing more than the dirt they walk on but you are not! You are princes and princesses of the God of the universe! Which brings us to the next point.
You have been given a divine authority to combat them.
“For though we live in the world we do not wage war as the world does. 4The weapons we fight with are not weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 3-5
You have the authority to combat, not only the demon itself but the words it speaks as well. God speaks truth and only truth. A lie can’t be created from nothing. A lie starts with the truth and than it is manipulated and warped into something that is opposite of what was once perfect and from God. They are feeding you lies that stem from an incredible root of truth! You have been given authority to speak against the forces of darkness and silence the never ending flow of lies.
“You realize nobody likes you right?”
I love you and so does your father. Romans 8:38-39
“You can’t possibly do that, who do you think you are?”
You are predestined for incredible works. Ephesians 2:10
“But you have screwed up so much already. How can you possibly think you can be worth loving?”
There is always grace from your father in heaven. Ephesians 1:7
This brings us to the final point never stop fighting. I know to a degree what so many of you are going through. The darkness that plagues you is debilitateing, painful, and hopeless. I can honestly and confidently say that you are a warrior. You are fighting every day of your life and have easily earned the title warrior. Unfortunately, warriors have enemies and those that will do everything they can to stop you. Satan is evil bit he is not dumb. He knows where to place his arrows and send his demons. He sends them to the biggest threat. You are a child of the most high who has been given the authority of the most high to do miraculous things on this earth. This all makes you a very dangerous threat. You are trying to be stopped right now because if you are not you will cause insurmountable damage to the darkness of Hell.
I wanted to take the time to write this to you because I believe in you. Keep fighting because you are worth fighting for. I am so insanely proud of you for all that you have been through. I know it hasn’t been easy and has sometimes felt like the hardest thing you have ever done but you are doing it! You haven’t lost because you are still here and you are still fighting. From someone who has battled and bled on this battlefield for half my life I want to encourage you with two things.
The fight is worth it.
You are worth the fight.
God, I pray right now for your sons and daughters. Your mighty warriors taking up arms against the forces of darkness. Bring them peace and rest. This fight is so difficult father, and I can only imagine how difficult it is to see your children going through it. However, I know you have not left us to fight empty handed. You have given us the power and authority of your Holy Spirt through the blood of your son Jesus. I pray that you give each of your sons and daughters the courage to stand up and fight yet again. That they will have power of the forces that have bullied them for too long. That you give them the confidence and motivation to stand up and say, “No more! I am a Child of God and you don’t get to speak to me anymore. You dont have power over me anymore! My father in Heaven has given me authority to drive you out and I do that now in the name of Jesus Christ. You dont get to tell me my worth anymore. My worth was established on the cross.”

Keep fighting you mighty children of God. You are worth it.
