Germaphobia on the race

Germs are everywhere, and there are three types of people; those who completely disregard germs, those who acknowledge germs, and those who obsess about avoiding them. I fall into this third category. World missions aren’t exactly germaphobe friendly but, they do encourage a lot of growth in this area. In the last 2 1/2 months I have ate off of communal plates, been sneezed on more times than I can count, and as of last week had head lice??. All of these things would have been cause for panic/a potential nervous breakdown for me at the start of the race. While I still don’t share drinks and am training kids to cover their coughs I no longer freak out or obsess over germs. Everybody talks about deep areas of growth on the world race but, I have found sometimes growth in the small and seemingly insignificant can be just as exciting!!! Until next time.
