Malawi was full of singing, dancing, and preaching. We served with widow ministries, fed orphans, held babies, played soccer, preached in churches, schools, barber shops, and even sometimes on public busses. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from month 10 in Malawi.
MALAWI PICTURES
(It only took me 10 1/4 months to discover I could do neat things like this. I hope you appreciate the artistic effort, it was done specifically for you)
This is the widows group we ministered to on Mondays and Wednesdays. We would sing songs together, dance with them, and then share our testimonies and the Word. The group gets together and they learn to sew and cook in order to provide for their families. Their stories were amazing. I really loved our time with them!

Every year Samaritans Purse collects thousands of Christmas boxes to send to developing countries. One day our ministry was passing these boxes out to the kids. Here is one little guy with his box. It was so awesome to be on the other side of this project and to see the kids faces light up when they got their presents. The gifts were simple things such as tooth brushes and loofas, but it meant the world to them.

We got to hold cute babies. As our host said, in his thick African accent: “We do not have to preach to da babies, because dey are bebies”

This is my team (S.U.P) before out last World Race travel day-rocking out eagle shirts, of course. One of the highlights of my race has been co-leading with these ladies. Karissa is on the left and Teresa is on the right. They will be my hardest goodbye, I love them so much. Two lifelong friends here for sure!

Team Rock, Paper, Spirit, my month 10 ladies!

Praying over the guys after sports ministry. Soccer is definitely a universal language.

I reached out my hand for a high five and it was swallowed up by these little guys.
