When the Lord called me to the World Race He blessed me with an awesome family member who provided the funding for me to come serve. Given my life situation at the time I am very thankful that I was able to focus on closing out my affairs, but recently the Lord has really humbled me in what it means to fundraise. Fundraising is not about asking people for money; it is about inviting your family, friends, and co-workers to take part in the journey God is taking you on. It also creates a dependency of complete faith in the Lord that He will continue to provide for what He has called you to.
God has blessed me with the opportunity to walk through the fundraising process with the men on our squad. It is so encouraging to see their faith explode. Although at times it may seem tough, they never once waiver in the promise that God will provide for the next deadline. We spend time praying over each other and really crying out to the Lord for provision. He will provide, but He also asks that we do our part in the process.
That is when I really felt God call me to do my part in serving my brothers. We are approaching our April 1st deadline and a few men on our team still need a small boost to reach their goal. These men are making a big impact in the kingdom and also continually calling me into a better version of myself. They are all here following God’s call and we are dedicated to seeing that through to completion.
I would like to invite you all deeper into this journey our squad is on. If any of you feel called to help support us financially, I encourage you to step into the call. Even just $10 can make a huge difference. We are faithful in seeing this through, and any bit of help you can provide is so greatly appreciated!
The links below will lead you to the members of our team who are still in need of some help. You can read through their blogs and also get a better of whom they are and what God is doing in their lives. If you would like to support them, on the left there is a button that says, “Support me”. From there it is pretty self-explanatory.
