The key to missions is flexibility.

Thank you, Joel Tooley.

Surprise!

I’m in Honduras, not Bulgaria.

At Launch we found out we had to be rerouted, which means these next three months are going to be spent in Central America, not Europe. As for the order of the rest of the countries, I have no idea. I’m here for the ride and trying to not get caught up in “the next.” Who doesn’t love a little spontaneity?!

My whole squad is together this month in Honduras, and wow, has it been amazing so far.

I could tell you about the amazing ministry we’re able to be a part of this month, but there is something pressing on my heart, so that blog can wait.

Here it is…

Something that one of my squad leaders spoke over my squad at launch was that, we are not only living out our destinies, but we are living out the destinies of those that have gone before us. We are living out the destinies of those would love to be where we are, but just weren’t able. There are so many that would love to be where I am, but God chose me.

Me.

He chose… me.

Me on the World Race. Me in Honduras. Me on Team OIL.

Have you ever taken in a deep breath, and been overcome with peace, and in that moment knew you were right where you were supposed to be?

I have.

And it is good.

As I was on a bus riding back from the center of Tegucigalpa, I was looking out the window, taking in the scene, and really breathing in the moment. I felt, as I looked at all the people on the street passing by, that God created me for this time, for this place. I was made for this perfect moment in Honduras, to love and to be loved.

So, I’m still in week one of running towards my destiny on the Race. This running will continue even after the Race is over, but I am so thankful for this amazing jumping off point.

Destiny, here I come.
