As I mentioned in one of my earlier blogs each day two people stay home from ministry to work in the kitchen. Cooking in India is no joke. Everything is fresh from the market and we spend hours chopping vegetables and crushing spices. One single meal takes on average 4 hours. The kitchen people usually awake by 6:30am to start cooking breakfast and the work doesn’t end until clean up after dinner, around 9:30pm. This experience has taught me a lot about servant hood, humility, and CURRY.
Here is a quick video I pieced together the last time Amaris and I had our cooking day. In this video we are preparing a 5 hour dinner of ….. SUPRISE….. rice and curry!!
