While most people are good with speaking when it comes to communication, I was not blessed in that department. My main way of communication is through writing. By putting words on paper, I can better express myself and this is the way I communicate with God. In middle and high school, I used to write ALOT of poems…I filled pages with words from my heart and somewhere along the way, I stopped writing as much. I can’t tell you the last time I wrote a poem or just filled a page with a beautiful flow of words, other than a prayer in my journal…until today.
This morning, I sat down with and asked God “What do you think of me? What do you see when you see me?”. I was not expecting to get an answer so quickly! He filled my heart with the words only the LORD could and I wrote…for two pages, I wrote the words He was putting on my heart. What came out of this time with my Father is beautiful and I feel lead to share with others because I KNOW He thinks of all of his children in this way.
Daughter of Mine
You are Beautiful,
daughter of mine.
Your eyes shine with the light of Christ.
Your beauty is like no other.
No jewelry or makeup could ever add or detract.
You possess a beauty all your own!
You are Strong,
daughter of mine.
With my power in you,
you cannot be defeated.
The armor of the Lord protects you,
oh daughter of mine.
You are Royalty, daughter!
Born into a royal priesthood,
I gave my Son so that you may have
life.
You are Forgiven,
oh, daughter of mine.
I put your sins on that cross with my Son
so that you may be FREE!
Walk in freedom, daughter,
my child.
You are Alive,
oh, daughter of mine.
Once you were dead and blind
but now, you can SEE and you possess
LIFE!
I have loved you
with an everlasting love, daughter.
From the beginning of time
I saw you and called you,
“Mine!”
Please, oh daughter,
walk in the knowledge
that I live in you,
that I love you and
I forgive you!
You are LOVED by me
You are BEAUTIFUL to me
You are STRONG in me
You are FORGIVEN by my grace
You are ALIVE in me
and
You are with me FOREVER.
I WILL NEVER LEAVE.
~Daddy God
As I prepare to leave in September, I pray that God would help me to stay in the present and not dwell on the past or try to fast forward to the future. I am in absolute awe at how God has been speaking to my heart more than ever and preparing me for this next journey. Please consider supporting me financially, as I want my time on the field to be a time of sharing the love of Christ and now worrying about money.
