Many of you may be curious about the place where I am living… For this reason, I have decided to post a photo blog showing you my home in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.

Here are our tents! Our neighbors were kind enough to help us set up the canopy of blankets to give us some shade during the day

This is where we use the bathroom. No, it doesn't flush, and there is no toilet seat. We've been working on our quads a lot this month.

These are the stalls where we take our bucket showers.

The only running water. This is where we wash our dishes after we eat, and where we wash our faces and our hair (it's much easier than trying to use the bucket.)

This is the view of the basketball court from our area.

This is what happens when a family moves into permanent housing- they sell the pieces of their temporary home so they can afford plumbing.

This is Melissa (who cooks for us) and her family outside of their home.

This one is for my mother.

These are two of the little kids that hang out around our tents every day.

And this is the epitome of mange. Gotta love those stray dogs.

Merry Christmas, y'all. 3 more days!!!
