Quote: The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet. Frederick Buechner
This quote spoke to me because I’m truly discovering that being in God’s will, fulfilling my purpose is the ONLY place to be, is the ONLY place where my deep gladness will begin to erupt and where I begin to live. But, our gladness is also about a part of the world’s hunger, its deep hunger being satisfied. The world is starving, physically, emotionally, spiritually. God created each of us with a purpose and He wants and has designed our purpose to COLLIDE with the world’s hunger. Why? Because he loves his children, all of us thirst and our hungry for something, which is really our creator, and he wants to MEET us by colliding our two worlds. I’m discovering God’s world for
me and it will meet his world for his people. When two worlds collide. When these two worlds collide my gladness begins to erupt like a volcano and the world’s deep hunger begins to subside. Ask God what his purpose is and be ready to go where he says go, whatever that is, because when you step towards his purpose for your life, you are about to see the most beautiful thing when two worlds collide: yours and theirs. When two worlds collide.
