My expectations of my trip….okay I expect to SEE God whatever that looks like, it’s how He wants to show Himself. I expect to cry and laugh….to smile and make someone else smile. I expect to be uncomfortable, to leave it behind, to do without, to learn what’s most important in life, to be less selfish. I expect to learn how to love more and have compassion more. I expect to SEE the world and the people in it. I expect to miss my family and friends. I expect to develop a new family……..I expect the unexpected and for God to blow me away! I expect to see hurt and hope in the eyes of the ones we meet. I expect to bring LIGHT into the darkness and to GIVE someone HOPE!!!!!
