When God took me on this journey I never imagined He would teach me so much. In addition to what I have been learning from my purse being stolen, God is teaching me things in other areas as well. We have had so many great ministry opportunites here in Costa Rica. I have been able to build some great relationships with children, teenagers and adults alike. I really have enjoyed getting to know two specific girls, Judy and Paula. Judy is a girl my age who does folklorica dancing. The other day Mallorie, Michelle and I got the opportunity to dress up in her dance clothes and take pictures. We had such a blast getting to know her during this time. I have also enjoyed getting the chance to meet Paula. She is a seventeen year old young woman with a three month old little boy. She is raising him as a single mom yet is still going after her dreams and goals and passionately pursuing the Lord at the same time. I have truly enjoyed getting to know these fabulous young women. We have also had the opportunity to meet this wonderful family of a single mom and four kids. We have been blessed with the opportunity to bless this family with meeting their needs and at the same time they have blessed us as well.
God is doing amazing things here in Costa Rica and I know He has great things for Peru. Not only is God working through ministry He is also doing amazing things in my life. I am learning to totally depend on Him for everything. I know He has alot to teach me in the coming months.
However currently my financial status to stay on this race is as low as it can be. I have $5,210 in my support account right now. In order to stay on the race I need $6,900 by the end of the month and a total of $13,000 for the whole year. Please be in prayer with me as I try to raise the rest of the support I need.
